Having just spent three days at The Great Escape in Brighton 1,2,3 were one of the stand out bands.  They sound comfortingly old and yet refreshingly energetic and different.  I’m obsessed already.  They’re from Los Angeles but are in the UK this week and playing three great shows in London including what has to be one of the gigs of the year tomorrow at Chess Club at The Old Queen’s Head in Islington with Kurran and the Wolfnotes and Lissie (both past features on TITB).
