This song appeared on Selmasongs, the soundtrack for the film Dancer In The Dark, which should have been called How To Induce An Intensely Deep Depression Via The Medium Of Film. The combo of Bjork’s soaring voice and Yorke’s lazy delivery makes for a strange contrast, but it works well atop the industrial chugging and Disney-like orchestra. This is what you get when Bjork and Thom Yorke record a song for a musical.
