WHY:
The band’s debut single, “Smalltown Boy”, is about the tale of a boy who was cast away by his family for being homosexual. The very 80s video also depicts the prejudice faced by many young homosexuals at that time. It’s also a great pop song with excellent 80s synths and soaring vocals.
