Freelance Whales are from New York and have been picking up quite the fanbase over the last few months. From what I hear they did very well at the recent SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. They’re about to go on two massive US tours, fingers crossed they’ll be coming over here for some summer festivals. This is the list of instruments that they play; drums, bass, guitar, harmonium, banjo, cello, glockenspiel, microkorg, jp-8000, waterphone, bing carbon telephones. This lovely, delicate song has just been released in the UK on Chess Club records and is their first single. The B-side to this is ‘Generator 1st Floor’. Get it here: recorddrop
