WHY: Oh the many, many reasons why… Dorsey was a pro boxer who fought under the name ‘Kid Chocolate’. Obama used his single ‘Yes We Can’ as a campaign song. He wrote r&b and funk and did both better than most; unfortunately, not enough people listen to the genius that is his music, which is probably because he died in 1986 and doesn’t have a publicist.
