This was one of the first remixes we ever did, but it’s remained one of our favourites. The original was great, and we gained massive admiration for Fyfe as a truly great, and massively underrated, song writer and musician. It has so much brilliant musicianship compressed into every bar and every instrument; it’s a breathtaking listen. The parts broken down, with live strings, a fluid tempo shifting bar by bar, and a bassline that never loses it’s groove but seemingly never repeats itself, gave us a platform to remix it into a cosmic disco jam, with the live feel pumped up on steroids and shimmering with electronic enhancements.
Since then we’ve remixed loads of tracks, some by much bigger artists – Gaga, Kylie, Kelis, Marina, OMD, Jamiroquai and more, but this remix, and Fyfe, will always be a really special for us. Mind you, we are rather chuffed about the Kylie remix that’s just been released, putting her through the galactic wormhole.

Awesome track – shades of ELO! I’ve seen Fyfe Dangerfield live, it was a great gig and he’s a really nice guy. Would have been wicked if this had been played too!!

That’s a new one we haven’t seen before, were you trying to download the track? We’re making a few minor changes here at TITB HQ so if you experience any problems please let us know what’s happened. Did you manage to do what you wanted?
yep, I was trying to download, ctrl click on a mac, (“the requested url is not to be found on this server” to be exact is what I got) – managed to download several others, but this one is all fixed this morning
