WHERE: Wall Lake, Iowa - USA

WHY:

Performed by the incomparable Andy Williams and taken from the ridiculously fine Shallow Grave – from back when Ewan McGregor was good! (Can anyone explain why people keep casting him as the good guy? He’s got an evil smirk! And a creepy face! Cast him as a rapist! Someone for gods sake!). This song is one of the finest songs to end a night on. Just watch as people depart into the night air with love in their heart and a smile upon their chops. This may well be credited with preventing a thousand drunken brawls, for how could you fight with this pumping through your soul.

CHOSEN BY:

It is that time of year when we all hail Hollywood and recognise the brilliance of the film industry. It is the Academy Awards or to you and I, Oscars week. To celebrate the occasion Track In The Box have called upon some friends, who know movie soundtracks backwards and forwards, to hand pick the best music from film.  SOUNDTRACKS are the DJs behind the hugely successful London clubnight of the same name, spinning only music from… you guessed it, soundtracks.

This track is listed in: Oscars
