WHERE: The 80's
WHY:
David Bowie and Queen – what an easy sell – with their cavalcade of pop confetti that is this (absolute) chief of classic 80s reminiscence. It could have so easily been novelty, but with Bowie’s honey-and-charcoal-like vocal, complimenting Queen’s stadium-ready melody, guitar hook and, oh yeah, that bloody bass line, it’s nothing but a tightly coiled class act. You’ve heard this a hundred times before… but when’s the last time you properly paid attention to it. Do it now.
