This post was created before our first redesign so looks a bit squee-wiff, we are in the process of transferring older posts to our new layout but this is a lengthy process

The Middle East – Blood

WHO: The Middle East

WHAT: Blood

WHERE: Queensland, Australia

WHY: Off the band’s debut EP “The Recordings Of The Middle East”. Championed by Justin Vernon (Bon Iver). One  of the most immediately beautiful songs I’ve heard in a long long time.  Despite being a song about death and darkness Blood manages to conjure  warmth and euphoria. Combining the best bits of Sigur Ros and Arcade  Fire, TME provide a rich, orchestrated sound. The EP will be released  in the UK at the start of next year on Chess Club Records.
