I discovered The Whip at The Secret Garden Party in 2007 on a very hot, sunny afternoon in a dark, grimy tent.  This song is electro goodness at it’s best, it teases you, makes you dance like a loon and don’t we all at some level wanna be trash?  The Secret Garden Party started yesterday and I am currently lost in a field of fancy dress, new friends and neon, The Whip are at some point playing as well.  So if you’re going to SGP make sure you catch them, if you’re not, turn this up loud and lose yourself for five minutes in homage to one of Britain’s greatest festival and Manchester’s greatest electro band.  Oh, and make sure you get a ticket next year.
